Help Us Enrich the Health of Our Community
Equi has a solid history of centering social justice in our work; our mission is to enrich the health of the Trans, Queer, Gender Diverse and Intersex communities through trauma-informed care, culturally affirming care, and social justice advocacy. Because of the higher rate of poverty and lower resources available to many in the Queer and Transgender communities, we have long-served the low income and houseless community with health care and social services.
Our team of community health workers are working directly with the residents of the C3PO villages getting folks connected to insurance, primary care, behavioral health, and recovery support. These villages house the most marginalized members of our houseless community and include two affinity villages that hold a culturally-specific space for BIPOC and LGBTQAI2S+ individuals.
